Russia's cash boost for young parents having a third child

Several Russian regions are now offering financial incentives to young parents who have a third child. The scheme targets couples under 35, providing a one-time payment to support growing families. The amounts vary, with some areas giving significantly more than others.

The largest payment comes from Pskov Oblast, where eligible parents receive 600,000 rubles. This is double the amount offered in some other regions.

Ivanovo, Ryazan, and Voronezh Oblasts provide a mid-range sum of 350,000 rubles. Meanwhile, Altai Krai, Magadan and Tomsk Oblasts, and the Republic of Altai offer a slightly lower payment of 300,000 rubles.

To qualify, both parents must be under 35 when the third child is born. The payment is a one-time benefit, designed to ease financial pressure on larger families.

The initiative aims to encourage younger couples to expand their families. Payments range from 300,000 to 600,000 rubles, depending on the region. No further details have been released about how the scheme may develop in the future.
