Russian Educators Unite to Boost Early Childhood Emotional Intelligence

An all-Russian conference on early childhood education recently took place in Nizhny Novgorod. The event brought together nearly 200 specialists from 18 regions to discuss children's psychological well-being and stress management. Organised by the Educators of Russia association, it formed part of the Year of Preschool Education initiatives. The conference focused on improving emotional intelligence in young children. Teachers showcased original methods for helping kids understand and express their feelings. A psychologist from Kulebaki also shared practical advice on guiding children through emotional challenges.

Workshops covered topics like health, creativity, and ways to spark cognitive curiosity. Attendees explored how kindergartens and families can work together more effectively. Modern parenting strategies were another key area of discussion. Nizhny Novgorod was chosen as the host city due to its long-standing reputation in early childhood education. The event received backing from the Presidential Grants Foundation and the regional government.

The conference provided educators with new tools and strategies for supporting young children's development. Nearly 200 professionals left with fresh insights into emotional intelligence and family collaboration. The discussions will likely influence early education practices in the regions represented.
