Russia and China Drop Visa Rules to Boost Travel and Trade

Russia and China have launched a mutual visa-free travel agreement, effective from December 1, 2022. Citizens from both countries can now visit for up to 30 days without needing a visa, opening doors for tourism, business, and private trips.

The new rules aim to simplify travel between the two nations. Tourists, business travellers, and private visitors can stay visa-free for a month, making short trips far more convenient.

The visa-free agreement removes a key barrier for travellers between Russia and China. Primorsky Territory’s tourism sector is gearing up to welcome more visitors, with structured packages and services ready. The move is set to boost local businesses and cross-border exchanges.
