RTS Forestry Ltd Bolsters Leadership with Three Senior Appointments

Scottish forestry management firm RTS Forestry Ltd has announced three senior appointments, effective from 1 October. The promotions and new hires reflect the company's growth and confidence in its future plans.

Ross Kennedy, previously a director at RTS, has been promoted to joint managing director, serving alongside Norman O'Neill. This move comes after the company's successful transition in ownership to the Scottish Woodlands Ltd (SWL) group in December 2024, which has led to continued growth.

Two new faces have joined the board. Mike Coles, who joined the company at the beginning of October, has been appointed as woodfuel director. Meanwhile, Sandy Pringle has been named the new forestry director. These appointments reflect the company's expansion across its divisions, which include energy infrastructure, consultancy, and woodfuel in addition to its core services of forest management and timber harvesting. RTS Forestry Ltd has offices in Crieff, Inverurie, Inverness, and Hexham, Northumberland.

Ross Kennedy expressed his enthusiasm about developing the business and working alongside the enhanced board and RTS management team.

RTS Forestry Ltd's recent senior appointments signal a period of growth and expansion for the company. With Ross Kennedy's promotion and the appointments of Mike Coles and Sandy Pringle, the company is well-positioned to continue its successful trajectory under the Scottish Woodlands Ltd group.
