Road Remains Closed in Wiesbaden: Buses Re-routed
In the city of Wiesbaden, there are temporary changes to the routes of public transportation lines 6, 33, and 9. These changes are intended to ensure smooth operation during ongoing construction works. Here's what passengers need to know:
For Line 6 and 33, travelling towards Mainz/Kostheim, the detour begins after Bahnhof Wiesbaden Ost. The route proceeds via Albertstraße, Biebricher Straße, and then turns right at the Otto-Suhr-Ring/Wiesbadener Straße intersection. Line 6 follows the regular route from there, while Line 33 continues straight. A temporary stop named 'Mudra-Kaserne' has been set up approximately 100 meters before the Wiesbadener Straße intersection, serving all passengers along the detour.
Line 9 passengers, travelling in both directions, will experience a detour between Niederbergstraße and Ruthof stops. The detour route involves Biebricher Straße.
Passengers are advised to consider these changes when planning their trips and allow extra time if necessary. Timetable information can be found at the affected stops' displays, on the interactive network map at www.netzplan-our website.de, or on an overview of all detour announcements available at www.eswe-verkehr.de.
For more specific questions or concerns, citizens can direct them to the responsible department or office within the State Capital Wiesbaden. The Press Office of the State Capital Wiesbaden can be contacted at Schlossplatz 6, 65183 Wiesbaden, and their website is available at pressereferatour websitede.
Timetable and fare information for ESWE-Verkehr can also be obtained via the Rhine-Main Transport Association hotline, which is operational 24/7 at (069) 24248024. The ESWE-Verkehr service phone is reachable from Monday to Friday, between 7 am and 6 pm, and on Saturdays, between 8 am and 3 pm, under (0611) 45022450.
We encourage all passengers to stay informed and plan their journeys accordingly to ensure a seamless travel experience during these temporary changes.
