Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis & Bergisch Gladbach Expand 'Heating Right with Wood' Campaign
The Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis and Bergisch Gladbach are expanding their 'Heating Right with Wood' campaign due to high demand. The campaign offers a free fireplace certificate course, with 9 out of 10 participants recommending it.
The course, available at https://www.ofenakademie.de/rheinisch-bergischer-kreis/, teaches efficient wood heating techniques. It can be started, paused, and resumed at any time, with a short test at the end to receive the fireplace certificate. Even experienced users can gain new insights, such as lighting the fireplace from above.
Proper use of fireplaces can significantly reduce emissions, according to Hussein Al-Gassani from Bergisch Gladbach's climate protection department. Participants can save an average of 30% of their firewood consumption, as per Max Kummrow, founder of the fireplace academy. The course is free, but places are limited. Additional vouchers are available for the course.
For more information about the fireplace certificate, contact the climate protection officers of the Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis. The 'Heating Right with Wood' campaign aims to promote efficient and clean wood heating, benefiting both the environment and participants' wallets.
