Redesigned 2025 Nissan Frontier featuring smart Around View Monitor technology

The Nissan Frontier 2025 is set to make a splash in the pickup truck market with its refreshed design and numerous enhancements. The vehicle will be available later this summer, with specific details about its release in Germany yet to be announced.

The 2025 Frontier showcases a revised front fascia, grille, bumper, tailgate finisher, dashboard trim, and new 17-inch alloy wheel design. This redesign not only gives the Frontier a modern look but also enhances its utility and performance.

Under the hood, the Frontier continues to deliver on utility with a responsive 3.8-liter V6 engine and 9-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain combination is rated for 310 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque, featuring Idle Stop/Start technology for improved fuel efficiency.

In terms of comfort and convenience, the Frontier offers a range of features across its grades. On SV grades and higher, the six-way power driver's seat now adds two-way power lumbar, providing additional comfort for long drives. The 2025 Frontier also introduces a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto connectivity on SV grades and higher.

The Frontier's bed is equipped with the Utili-Track™ system, featuring adjustable tie-down cleats and an available spray-in bedliner. The bed also has an available 120-volt power outlet for added convenience.

The Frontier expands the availability of the Crew Cab long-wheelbase configuration to SV, PRO-4X, and SL grades, offering more space for passengers and cargo. The PRO-4X model features all-terrain tires, Bilstein off-road suspension components, over-fenders, and Lava Red tow hooks, making it a formidable off-road vehicle.

The SL grade offers a more plush, highly equipped option with features including leather-appointed front and rear seating, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, LED exterior lighting, and a Fender® Premium Audio system with 10 speakers. On SL grades, a wireless phone charger, Intelligent Around View Monitor, and a four-way power passenger seat become standard.

Safety is a top priority for the Frontier. All grades come with standard driver assistance and safety technologies, including Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Rear Parking Sensors, High Beam Assist, Intelligent Cruise Control, and Frontier SL also features Traffic Sign Recognition. The Frontier's Intelligent Around View® Monitor now allows Off-Road Mode viewing function while driving at up to 12 mph, enhancing visibility in challenging terrains.

Active Brake Limited Slip is standard on all grades, with PRO-4X upgrading to an electronic locking differential. Towing capacity varies by configuration, see Nissan Towing Guide and Owner's Manual for additional information. The 2025 Frontier has an increased maximum tow rating of up to 7,150 pounds.

Pricing for the 2025 Frontier will be announced closer to the on-sale date. However, it's worth noting that the Sliding Rear Window, a feature introduced in the bullet points, is not available at the time of the 2025 Frontier market release date, expected availability in December 2024.

The 2025 Nissan Frontier promises to be a versatile and capable pickup truck, offering a blend of performance, comfort, and safety features. With its redesigned exterior, enhanced utility, and advanced technology, the Frontier is poised to make a strong impact in the pickup truck market. Stay tuned for more updates on the Frontier's release in Germany.
