So, what's been happening in Israel's defense sector? Let's find out!

The ongoing Gaza conflict couldn't stop Israel's defense exports from reaching new heights in 2024. The Ministry of Defense announced an impressive total of 14 billion euros, marking a 13% increase from the previous year and the fourth consecutive record year!

A significant portion of these deals, over 54%, was made with European countries. With Europe as the major export destination, it's clear Israel's defense industry is well-regarded globally. Looking back over the past five years, defense exports have more than doubled in value.

One of the notable deals included Germany's purchase of the advanced, high-altitude missile defense system, the Arrow 3.

So, why's the demand for Israeli defense technology soaring? It seems there's an increased interest in advanced defense technologies like air defense systems and missiles. In fact, these categories accounted for 48% of total exports in 2024, a drastic increase from the previous year's 36%.
