In Wiesbaden, Germany, several bus lines have been affected by a detour due to the current closure on Gustav-Stresemann-Ring and a water pipe break. The affected bus lines include 3, 6, 16, 22, 27, 28, 33, 37, 45, and 49.

For those heading towards Berliner Straße, buses will follow their normal route up to the "Hauptbahnhof A" stop, then continue via Gustav-Stresemann-Ring, turn into Wittelsbacherstraße, take a bypass to Wettinerstraße, and then return to Gustav-Stresemann-Ring to reach stops at Berliner Straße. Line 22 towards Berufsschulzentrum (BSZ) will follow a direct bypass from Gustav-Stresemann-Ring to Wettinerstraße and then to its final stop at Berufsschulzentrum.

In the direction of Innenstadt, except for line 22, all listed buses will drive their usual routes starting from August 18, 2025. For line 22 going to Innenstadt, the route starts from Wittelsbacherstraße and detours over Mainzer Straße, Gustav-Stresemann-Ring, and Bahnhofstraße to "Hauptbahnhof B" or "Hauptbahnhof A" at Kaiser-Friedrich-Ring.

Lines 3, 6, 16, 22, 27, 28, 33, 37, 45, and 49 will all be detoured, with specific altered paths mainly around Gustav-Stresemann-Ring and surrounding streets. Lines 22 and 27 (Oberjosbach / HSK / August-Bebel-Straße) will start at Brunhildenstraße, detour via Siegfriedring, Hasengartenstraße, Weidenbornstraße, and Mainzer Straße, then return to their regular route. Lines 16, 28, 37, and 45 will detour from "Main Station A" via Salzbachstraße, Gartenfeldstraße, Mainzer Straße, Welfenstraße, Weidenbornstraße, Brunhildenstraße, and Gustav-Stresemann-Ring to their regular route. Line 27 will take a detour to the Leisure Pool and return to its regular route.

The detour for Lines 16, 28, 37, and 45 includes stops at Brunhildenstraße and Gustav-Stresemann-Ring. These buses will lead to Südfriedhof, Mainz, Nordenstadt, and Raiffeisenplatz. Lines 3 and 33 will take a detour to Biebrich, Mainz, Kostheim, and Bierstadt.

For more detailed information, including timetable and fare details, visitors can refer to the interactive network map on www.netzplan-our website.de. The detour regulation starts on Monday, August 18, 2025, at operational start and is due to the road closure related to the water main break at Gustav-Stresemann-Ring.

Further general information is available at the affected stops' timetable displays, and the Rhine-Main transport association's hotline can be reached daily around the clock on (069) 24 48024. In the midst of the detour, the finance industry might experience challenges in scheduling meetings or trips in Wiesbaden due to the disruptions in public-transit transportation. The expanded transportation routes for bus lines such as 3, 6, 16, 22, 27, 28, 33, 37, 45, and 49, primarily around Gustav-Stresemann-Ring, may impact the ease of transactions within the industry as well.
