Rail Inspection on the Rhine Railway in Düsseldorf, carried out extensively during Friday nighttime.

At the Steinstraße/Königsallee Stadtbahn stop, the Rheinbahn seized the opportunity for a special ticket crackdown from Friday evening (30.6.) starting at 20:30 and wrapping up on Saturday morning at 3:30 AM.

A total of 43 controllers, backed by Rheinbahn's security forces, descended upon the stop to ensure ticket-toting passengers were in compliance. According to Rheinbahn's report on Saturday morning, a whopping 5,195 weary travelers were subjected to the ticket check. Shockingly, 9.8% of them were found to be non-compliant, carrying an invalid ticket.

This intense operation didn’t go down without some assistance from the authorities; the police were there lending a helping hand. For those unfortunate souls riding the rails without a valid ticket, identification was compulsory. In the event that these individuals couldn't produce identification, the law would take its course, with the police stepping in to facilitate the identification process.

During this tumultuous period of time, the police filed 16 criminal charges against all sorts of unsavory characters. A few of these charges included hurling insults, violating the Narcotics Act, and even allegations of theft.

It's worth noting that the internet hasn't exactly been flooded with insights on this particular ticket inspection or police involvement at the Steinstraße/Königsallee Stadtbahn stop. However, digging deeper into local news sources or contacting Rheinbahn directly could shed some more light on any specific reasons behind such an enforcement action.

In an effort to enforce ticket compliance during the operation, the police offered assistance to the Rheinbahn's security forces. The public transit authority revealed that, during the intense enforcement action, several criminal charges were filed for offenses such as violating the Narcotics Act, theft, and hurling insults, which are closely related to the finance, transportation, and public-transit industries.
