Basin Energy Advances Green Energy Metals Exploration in Canada and Scandinavia

Sydney, Australia - Basin Energy Ltd, a green energy metals exploration and development company, is making significant strides in advancing its projects in both the Athabasca Basin, Canada, and Scandinavia.

In Scandinavia, the company has made substantial progress in North Sweden and Finland. Basin Energy has completed structural relogging of historical drill core across key projects—Virka, Bjorkberget, and Ravaberget—identifying key mineralised structures associated with known mineralisation trends. Rock chip sampling indicated high-grade mineralisation, including over 5.9% uranium oxide, up to 9.8% zinc, and more than 0.3% total rare earth oxides.

Currently, 441 drill core samples from 36 historical holes are undergoing multi-element assays to define next-stage exploration targets. Basin Energy is also engaging potential partners to unlock shareholder value from its non-core deeper unconformity uranium targets. The company remains committed to exploring high-conviction shallow uranium and green energy metal projects in the region.

In the Athabasca Basin, Canada, Basin Energy's direct project updates are limited, but the region remains a leading uranium province with active exploration by other companies such as IsoEnergy. IsoEnergy, a prominent uranium explorer in the Athabasca Basin, reported strong drilling results at their Dorado joint venture near the Hurricane deposit, highlighting high-grade uranium mineralization and ongoing assay processing. IsoEnergy’s activities underscore the ongoing demand and exploration momentum for uranium in the Athabasca Basin, an environment relevant to Basin Energy’s interests and strategic objectives.

Basin Energy has recently acquired a significant portfolio of Green Energy Metals exploration assets located in Scandinavia. The company's shares are also traded on OTC Markets under the symbol BSNEF.
