Putin Establishes Group to Drive 30 Trillion Ruble Development Projects by 2030
Vladimir Putin has established a special working group to coordinate development institutions. Led by Igor Shuvalov, head of VEB.RF, the group aims to back projects worth over 30 trillion rubles by 2030, with a focus on five key areas.
The group, chaired by Shuvalov, will concentrate on major investment projects, anchor settlements, technological leadership, export support, and entrepreneurship. Andrei Belousov, head of the special working group, will coordinate its activities. The first report is due by December 1, with subsequent updates every six months.
VEB.RF, partnering with the state and private sector, will back projects worth over 30 trillion rubles by 2030. This includes 15 trillion rubles in initiatives directly involving VEB.RF. The state corporation must complete the task by March 1, 2026. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and Shuvalov have been tasked with oversight.
The special working group, established by Putin's decree, seeks to drive development through strategic projects. With a clear roadmap and substantial funding, the group aims to foster growth in key areas by 2030, with regular progress updates.
