The road surface renewal on the A9 is expected to last from Monday, July 14, 2025, to Saturday, November 22, 2025. During this period, drivers should expect traffic congestion on the A9 near Nuremberg for the foreseeable future.
Traffic will be rerouted on the Nuremberg-bound carriageway with three lanes in the direction of Nuremberg and two lanes in the direction of Munich. An additional lane will be provided in the direction of Munich along the construction site.
The cost of renewing the road surface is approximately 8 million euros. The project forms part of a comprehensive maintenance program that includes further measures for the modernization of the road surfaces of the A9 between the Nuremberg-Feucht motorway junction and the Lenting junction.
