Predictions for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana's Future Set by Leading Market Expert
In a recent development, Chris Burniske, partner at venture capital firm Placeholder, has shared his price targets for Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Solana (SOL) by October 2025.
Burniske forecasts that Bitcoin could reach approximately $142,690 by October 2025, Ethereum between $6,900 and $8,000, and Solana around $420. As of mid-August 2025, Bitcoin's price is about $121,799, indicating a significant potential rise to his target levels.
Burniske's predictions are based on historical market cycles and observed capital rotation from Bitcoin into altcoins, which has supported improving performance metrics for Ethereum and Solana. He highlights that if market momentum accelerates through the early autumn months, his conviction in an October peak grows stronger. However, he also warns about the speculative and volatile nature of crypto markets and stresses disciplined risk management rather than relying solely on timing.
Currently, Bitcoin is approaching a new record high, with the previous record high being $123,236, reached in mid-July. Burniske has expressed that the crazier prices get in August/September/October, the more convinced he will be of an October top. However, if Bitcoin pulls back hard soon and gets more muted, Burniske suggests that the bull market could extend for longer. He has also warned investors that everything will drain out as soon as the tide turns for Bitcoin.
