Pitstop refreshes German branches with HUK-Coburg's bold new branding

Pitstop, the auto service chain, is updating the look of its branches across Germany. The refresh comes as part of a closer partnership with insurer HUK-Coburg. This year, around 50 locations will adopt the new design, blending both company identities.

HUK-Coburg first invested in Pitstop in 2022 and increased its stake last year. The move aimed to bring the workshop business under the insurer's wider group. Now, the HUK brand logo will appear alongside Pitstop's on storefronts, signalling a stronger connection between the two.

The redesign is already visible at the Sankt Augustin branch. This location was the first to combine Pitstop's workshop services with a HUK-Coburg customer service office. Where both services share a site, the insurer's full name will be displayed. HUK-Coburg is expanding beyond traditional insurance into mobility services. The updated branding reflects this shift, positioning the company as a broader provider in the automotive sector.

The visual changes will roll out to 50 branches in 2026. Customers at shared locations like Sankt Augustin will now see both the Pitstop and HUK-Coburg logos. The update marks a clearer link between the workshop chain and its parent company.
