Philippine Airlines Boosts Fleet and Pilot Training with 22 New Aircraft by 2028

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is bolstering its fleet and training programs. It's set to receive 22 new aircraft by 2028, with the first Airbus A350-1000 arriving by the end of 2025. Meanwhile, 14 cadet pilots have embarked on advanced training in Australia.

PAL's expansion includes nine Airbus A350-1000s and 13 Airbus A321neos, due between 2025 and 2028. The first A350-1000 is expected by late 2025. This growth complements PAL's existing fleet and enhances its global reach.

The 14 cadet pilots, part of the AO Class 2025 Alpha, are training at Airways Aviation's Gold Coast campus. They've begun their journey at PAL Aviation School, which has trained over a thousand pilots since the 1960s. PAL's partnership with Airways ensures top-tier training and access to modern facilities.

PAL's aircraft acquisitions and investment in pilot training signal a commitment to growth and excellence. These initiatives will strengthen PAL's position in the aviation industry and ensure a steady pipeline of skilled pilots.
