Over 90 business owners participated in Supplier Day, hailing from Nizhny Novgorod
On September 17, 2025, over 90 local entrepreneurs gathered in the Nizhny Novgorod region for the Supplier's Day event in the automotive industry sector. This significant gathering was part of the "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship" federal project under the "Efficient and Competitive Economy" national project, a key initiative by Russian President Vladimir Putin to form a new growth model.
The event, organised by the "My Business" centre and the regional Ministry of Industry and Trade, provided a platform for direct dialogue between enterprises. Key potential clients for the event included the Belarusian Automobile Plant, the Gorky Automobile Plant, LLC "Link Plant", and LLC "Ulyanovsk Auto Components".
Twelve auto component producers showcased their products, ranging from plastic pipes to electric motors, offering potential clients the opportunity to assess the quality of the goods and discuss cooperation opportunities. As a result, over 300 negotiations took place during the event.
The Supplier's Day in the automotive industry sector was not the first of its kind. Since the beginning of 2025, similar events have been held in other sectors, attracting over 650 entrepreneurs from the Nizhny Novgorod region.
The regional Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship, Maxim Cherkasov, emphasised the importance of such events, stating that they are crucial for fostering connections and collaborations between local businesses and larger industry players.
