Over 50 Entrepreneurs Discuss Clever Energy Solutions at Hettich Group

Over 50 entrepreneurs gathered at the Hettich Group in Kirchlengern for a 'Practical Talk' focused on clever energy solutions in small business ideas. The event, hosted by the Climate Protection Management, brought together company representatives to discuss sustainability and climate protection.

Daniel Menke from the Hettich Group shared insights about photovoltaics, heat recovery, and a pilot project aiming to reduce natural gas usage. Birgit Rehberg, head of regional development and climate protection, deemed the event a success due to the valuable exchange and networking opportunities it provided.

Philip Kleineberg from ProElectrify showcased practical solutions for my business and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). These included bidirectional charging, commercial storage, and smart energy management systems. Jan Hüttner, economic developer in the Herford district, highlighted the commitment of local companies to sustainability and energy efficiency. He noted that smart, flexible energy solutions not only help businesses act long-term but also enhance their image.

The 'Company Network Climate Protection' in the Herford district has been facilitating such discussions for several years. Future topics for practical discussion groups include energy efficiency in private homes, heating and renovation funding programs, protection against indoor overheating, and sustainable energy usage.
