Novosibirsk prepares 29,000 residents for 2026 pension rollout

More than 29,000 residents of the Novosibirsk Region will start receiving old-age pensions in 2026. The preparations for their pension documents have already begun, with paperwork processed in advance during 2025.

The new pensioners will include women born in 1967 and men born in 1962. To qualify, they must meet two key requirements: at least 30 pension points and a minimum of 15 years of work experience.

Some groups can retire earlier than the standard age. These include teachers, healthcare workers, and those in hazardous jobs. Mothers of large families and parents of children with disabilities also qualify for early retirement.

Additionally, women with 37 years of work experience and men with 42 years may retire ahead of schedule. The regional pension office has confirmed these conditions as part of the 2026 rollout.

The pension changes will affect thousands of Novosibirsk residents next year. Eligible individuals must ensure they meet the work and pension point thresholds before applying. Officials have already started processing the necessary documentation to avoid delays.
