Nizhny Novgorod’s connections to Turkey and Egypt have made these countries top picks for holidaymakers. Other destinations like Georgia, Thailand, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, China, and Tunisia have also seen steady interest.
Domestic trips continue to dominate, with Sochi, Kaliningrad, and Mineralnye Vody leading the way. Despite occasional disruptions from the Kovyor contingency plan at Nizhny Novgorod Airport, Sochi stays in high demand. Tour operators note that three-night packages to the Black Sea resort now start at 20,000 rubles, making short breaks more accessible. Elsewhere, preferences have changed.
