Autumn holidays in Nizhny Novgorod are shaping up to be a mix of domestic and international travel, with families seeking affordable yet exciting experiences. With nine days off, residents are exploring various destinations, both near and far.

Domestic travel is popular this autumn, with Tatarstan, St. Petersburg, and the Kaliningrad region topping the list. Three- to four-star hotels offer the best prices for Nizhny Novgorod residents. For those seeking international destinations, Egypt, Turkey, Minsk, Tbilisi, Yerevan, Istanbul, and Batumi are popular choices. Last-minute deals to Egypt and Turkey can be found for around 180,000 and 140,000 rubles respectively for a family of three.

Svetlana Karazanova, a local resident, spent 39,000 rubles on round-trip tickets to Sochi for her family. She rented an apartment for 20,000 rubles and plans to spend an additional 40,000 to 50,000 rubles on entertainment. Package tours to Egypt and Turkey start at 320,000 and 220,000 rubles respectively for a family of three, with durations of 7 and 8 nights.
