Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneurs unite to boost local business growth and state support

A recent roundtable event in Bor gathered 73 entrepreneurs from five municipalities in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast. Organised by the regional Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship, the meeting focused on business growth, state support, and networking opportunities for local producers. The event formed part of the national project Effective and Competitive Economy and was co-hosted by the My Business regional centre. Entrepreneurs from Bor, Kovernino, Volodarsk, Nizhny Novgorod, and Dzerzhinsk took part, representing sectors such as clothing, food, cosmetics, and wood products.

Discussions covered investment support, the *Kulibin* special economic zone, and digital services for businesses. Representatives from the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast Development Corporation also outlined available funding and regional incentives. Alongside talks, the programme included an exhibition of local goods and B2B/B2G negotiations. Maxim Cherkasov, the region's Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship, noted that Nizhny Novgorod Oblast has the country's largest *My Business* network, with 43 branches. Since January, experts have delivered over 9,000 consultations on business development. Support details are available at the centre's website, *mybusiness52.rf*. Seven more roundtable sessions are scheduled before year-end, with Bor and Zavolzhye already confirmed as venues.

The event provided a platform for entrepreneurs to access state-backed resources and expand their networks. Further discussions will take place across the oblast, continuing efforts to strengthen local businesses. All support measures remain accessible through the My Business centre's online portal.
