Nestlé Sells Nordic Premium Culinary Business to Solina
Nestlé has announced the sale of its Nordic Professional Premium Culinary business to Solina. The deal includes the popular brands OSCAR and PULJONKI, as well as two factories in Denmark and Finland. Nestlé remains committed to the Nordics, ensuring continued high-quality food and beverage products.
The sale, expected to close by the end of March, only affects Nestlé's Professional Premium Culinary business in the Nordics. Other Nordic categories remain unaffected. Nestlé Professional Zone Europe will continue to oversee Premium Culinary outside of the Nordics.
The new owner, Ingman Group, will take over the Nestlé Professional Premium Culinary brand in Northern Europe, including the OSCAR and PULJONKI brands and the two factories in Rønnede, Denmark, and Juuka, Finland. The transaction is set to close in the last quarter of 2025.
Solina, the new owner, plans to leverage the acquisition to strengthen its global presence in the food service sector. It aims to introduce the high-quality culinary solutions of OSCAR and PULJONKI to new markets and customers. Meanwhile, Nestlé will focus more on its remaining out-of-home portfolio in the Nordics.
The sale of Nestlé's Nordic Professional Premium Culinary business to Solina is expected to close in the coming months. The deal includes the OSCAR and PULJONKI brands and two factories in Denmark and Finland. Both companies anticipate benefits from the transaction, with Nestlé focusing on its remaining portfolio and Solina expanding its global reach.
