MSIG USA Bolsters Leadership with Erika Shalette as General Counsel
MSIG USA has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Erika Shalette as General Counsel. Shalette, who brings nearly 25 years of legal experience, will oversee all legal and compliance matters for the company, reporting directly to Kent Ziegler, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer.
Shalette joins MSIG USA from Amynta Group, where she served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary. In this role, she advised the executive team and Board of Directors on corporate governance, compliance, and strategic transactions. She also oversaw global legal, compliance, and regulatory matters.
Ziegler welcomed Shalette's appointment, citing her expertise and experience as an invaluable addition to the MSIG USA team. Shalette's extensive insurance industry experience makes her well-suited to guide corporate governance practices and manage regulatory requirements for MSIG USA.
In her new role, Shalette will support strategic initiatives driving MSIG USA's growth in the US specialty market. Her appointment reflects the company's commitment to strengthening its leadership and driving its business forward.
