Groovy News: Chalco's Trolley Line Takes Off! 🚠
Switchin' Things Up in Mexico
Monthly ridership on Trolebús to Chalco reaches 876,000 passengers
In the bustling heart of Mexico, the newly launched Santa Marta-Chalco Trolley Line is making waves! After just one month of operation, a whopping 880,000 passengers have hopped aboard, according to the State of Mexico's Mobility Secretariat.
You betcha, that's right! Over 157,000 rides were freebies for those who needed it most – the elderly, individuals with disabilities, and those under five years old.
Hey, guess what? The line surpassed daily usage expectations in its first stage! Instead of a projected 20,000 passengers daily, more than 29,000 folks have been cruising from one end to the other in the eastern Mexico Valley.
Trust me, that ain't all. Looks like this electric trolley is building some serious momentum, with projections of over 230,000 daily users down the line. Sweet deal, huh? 😜
