Modified train schedules for July by BJD

First off, let me tell ya' what's up with the disruption: There's some gotta-get-it-done repair work on a railway bridge on the "Žabinka - Brest" section, and it's going down from July 15 at 9:30 AM until July 16 at 4:00 AM. This is causing a bit of a ruckus for several passenger trains, so they're adjusting their routes and schedules to keep things moving.

Here's the lowdown on the long-distance trains:

  1. Train No 3/4 (Moscow - Brest): Leaves Moscow on July 14, but instead of going all the way to Brest, it'll stop at "Baranovichi-Polesye" station and arrive there on July 15 at 8:43 AM. The return to Moscow departs from "Baranovichi-Polesye" at 7:38 PM the same day.
  2. Train No 27/28 (Moscow - Brest): On July 14, it'll make it as far as Žabinka, arriving at 1:27 PM on the 15th. The return journey departs Žabinka at 7:52 PM.
  3. Train No 51/52 (St. Petersburg - Brest): On July 14, it'll go as far as Žabinka, arriving at 12:17 PM, and returns the same day at 2:56 PM.

Business and regional trains are also feeling the pinch, with some cancellations and route changes. For instance, the "Minsk - Brest - Minsk" business-class trains on July 15 will operate between Minsk and Žabinka, with some canceled entirely.

Now, several regional routes have been canceled or shortened, as well. For example, the "Polotsk - Vitebsk - Brest" train (Train No 605/606) will depart on July 14 only as far as "Yanovo-Polesskoye" (Ivanovo) and return on July 15 at 7:52 PM.

To keep yourself in the know, peep the official Belarusian Railway website or call 105 for the latest deets. And remember, be ready for possible delays, reroutings, or bus transfers on the Žabinka - Brest section during this period.
