Jackpocket, the online lottery service, has made history by facilitating the largest scratch ticket prize ever won using their platform. The win, celebrated recently, has brought the total prizes produced by the service since its launch in 2013 to over $900 million.
This milestone win is a testament to the enthusiasm customers have shown for the scratch ticket feature on Jackpocket. The service, which allows players to purchase official state and national lottery tickets from their phone or computer, offers another seamless way to participate in the lottery.
When a player places an order on Jackpocket, a physical ticket is purchased on their behalf from a licensed retailer in their state. The ticket is then scanned, and a high-resolution image is displayed in the app, ensuring transparency and safekeeping.
Once purchased, Jackpocket automatically checks tickets for winnings and notifies players of results. Smaller prizes (usually up to $600) are credited directly into the user's Jackpocket account, while larger prizes require claiming through the state lottery with the physical ticket provided.
