The automotive world is abuzz with the upcoming launch of the Maruti Suzuki Victoris, a new SUV that promises to redefine the boundaries of style, comfort, and technology.

This new offering from Maruti Suzuki comes equipped with a sporty front-end design, featuring sleek LED headlamps and a tail light shape reminiscent of the popular Maruti Suzuki Swift, but with a more stylish 3D design. The rear end of the Victoris features full-width LED taillamps and a smart, powered tailgate with gesture control, adding a touch of luxury to the overall design.

Under the hood, the Victoris SUV is powered by a naturally aspirated 1.5-litre petrol engine, a powertrain that is also used in other Maruti Suzuki models. For those seeking a more eco-friendly option, the Victoris will also be available with CNG and a strong hybrid powertrain, the latter of which is shared with the Grand Vitara. The strong hybrid powertrain comes with a lithium-ion battery, and the lithium-ion battery for this powertrain is being heavily assembled locally.

The Victoris SUV offers creature comforts galore, including a dual-pane sunroof, a PM 2.5 air filter, 8-speaker surround infinity sound with Dolby Atmos, and an 8-way powered and ventilated seat for the driver. The interior boasts two interior trim options, each featuring a layered dashboard and backlit ambient lighting with 64 color options.

Safety is a top priority for the Victoris, as evident by its 5-star rating from the Bharat NCAP crash tests. The SUV comes with 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), pedestrian protection systems, and seat belt reminders as standard. The safety and assistance systems in the Victoris are provided by Bosch and Mobileye. The Victoris also features a heads-up display, 360-degree camera, and Level-2 ADAS, which is tuned for Indian roads.

The Victoris SUV is also future-ready, with OTA (over-the-air) updates and support for Suzuki Connect, offering over 60 features. The SUV also features a 10.25-inch digital driver's display and touchscreen infotainment with Alexa integration and more than 35 pre-installed apps.

The AllGrip Select AWD system will be available on the higher-spec ZXi+ and ZXi+(O) variants of the Victoris, making it compatible with the strong hybrid powertrain. The CNG tanks on the Victoris are positioned under the body to save space in the boot.

While specific details about the pricing and launch date for the Maruti Suzuki Victoris are yet to be announced, one thing is certain - this new SUV is set to make a significant impact in the Indian automotive market with its combination of style, comfort, technology, and safety. The Victoris SUV will be available in 10 colours, including Eternal Blue and Mystic Green, and will offer two options for alloys.

Stay tuned for more updates on the Maruti Suzuki Victoris as we approach its launch.
