Marriott Bonvoy Adds Postcard Cabins After Sonder Split
Marriott Bonvoy members can now earn and redeem points at Postcard Cabins, following the end of Marriott's partnership with Sonder. The cabin-style accommodations, scattered across 29 U.S. destinations, offer camping-like stays near major cities.
Postcard Cabins guests earn 10 points per dollar spent, with redemption rates varying dynamically. Each qualifying night stayed also counts as one elite night. Guests enjoy Marriott Bonvoy elite benefits, excluding suite upgrades. A $35 per night 'destination amenity fee' covers local treats like firewood and s'mores kits.
Specific locations include Postcard Cabins Asheboro in North Carolina, offering mountain views and fishing from $139 or 29,000 points per night. The Eastern Catskills location in New York, near Kaaterskill Falls, starts from $151 or 54,000 points. Hill Country in Texas provides stunning views and a natural swimming hole from $139 or 38,000 points.
With Sonder's operations ceasing, Marriott has welcomed Postcard Cabins into its Bonvoy program. Guests can now enjoy unique, cabin-style stays while earning and redeeming Marriott points and elite benefits.
