MariBank Launches Low-Cost Singapore Equity Fund with 5–7% Target Payouts

MariBank has introduced a new investment product called Mari Invest Singapore Equity, offering access to Singapore-listed stocks with a minimum investment of just S$1. The fund, managed by Amova Asset Management Asia Limited, targets monthly payouts of between 5% and 7% per year based on its net asset value (NAV) per unit. However, payouts are not guaranteed and may reduce the fund's NAV immediately upon distribution.

The new product joins MariBank's existing investment options, which include Mari Invest Gold, Mari Invest Income, and Mari Invest SavePlus. According to the bank, about one in three of its customers has already invested in at least one of these products. The latest fund will initially be available by invitation only, with wider access through the MariBank app expected in early April 2026.

The **Amova Singapore Dividend Equity Fund SGD Class** focuses on companies with sustainable dividend yields, potential for dividend growth, and undervalued firms showing positive fundamental changes. It primarily invests in equities listed on the Singapore Exchange, including those outside the Straits Times Index, as well as selected overseas-listed stocks. Amova Asset Management Asia Limited, the fund's manager, is one of six firms appointed under the Monetary Authority of Singapore's S$6.5 billion **Equity Market Development Programme**. One key feature of the product is its **no transaction fee** structure, making it more accessible for smaller investors. However, the fund's distribution policy clarifies that payouts may come from income, capital, or both, which could lead to a direct reduction in the NAV per unit.

The launch of Mari Invest Singapore Equity expands MariBank's investment offerings, providing a low-cost entry point for customers seeking exposure to Singapore equities. The fund's monthly distribution target and focus on dividend-paying companies may appeal to income-focused investors. Public access via the MariBank app is set to begin in early April 2026.
