LIS Appoints Rob Schreurs as Co-CEO to Drive Logistics Growth in Europe

LIS Logistical Information Systems GmbH (LIS) has named Rob Schreurs as its new co-CEO. The company, which specialises in transport and warehouse software, currently employs over 260 staff across six European countries. Schreurs steps into the role following Magnus Wagner's departure, bringing a wealth of experience in global logistics systems.

LIS is a key player in logistics software, offering solutions like the WinSped dispatching system for end-to-end planning. The company also recently launched LIS Warehouse Management (LWM), a cloud-based tool designed for third-party logistics providers. As part of the DKV Mobility Group, LIS operates from offices in Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, France, Spain, and Denmark.

Over the past five years, LIS has maintained a niche focus on mid-sized European firms. However, industry reports highlight slower growth compared to rivals. Competitors like SAP Transportation Management and Blue Yonder have expanded rapidly, with annual growth rates of 15–25%, while LIS has seen under 10% revenue growth.

Rob Schreurs now joins Rolf Hansmann as co-CEO, tasked with driving the company's next phase of development. The firm has acknowledged Magnus Wagner's contributions in expanding its product range and strengthening its market presence. Schreurs, with his background in international logistics and transport systems, will help shape LIS's future strategy.

The appointment of Rob Schreurs marks a new chapter for LIS as it seeks to accelerate growth. His leadership, alongside Rolf Hansmann, will focus on strategic expansion in a competitive market. The company remains a specialised provider of transport and warehouse management solutions across Europe.
