Liminal teams with EY for a three-year audit to strengthen digital asset governance

Liminal, a fast-growing digital asset infrastructure firm, has partnered with Ernst & Young Advisory Pte. Ltd. (EY) for a three-year internal audit program. The move aims to bolster the company’s governance, risk management, and internal controls as it expands into new markets.

Founded in 2021 by digital asset pioneer Mahin Gupta, Liminal has quickly established itself as a key player in blockchain wallet infrastructure. The Singapore-based company supports over 80 leading businesses across 12 countries, processing more than $80 billion in transactions and safeguarding over $800 million in digital assets. Its ‘plug-and-play’ architecture simplifies complex operations like institutional custody, staking, and automated treasury management.

The engagement with EY will focus on strengthening Liminal’s internal control environment and governance frameworks. Mansi Mehta, Global Head of Risk, Forensics, and Internal Audit at Liminal, noted that working with EY ensures the company meets the high standards demanded by financial institutions, regulators, and enterprise clients. This internal audit initiative marks a critical step toward broader certification and assurance objectives. As Liminal continues to grow in emerging markets and regulated jurisdictions, the partnership is expected to reinforce trust and operational resilience.

The three-year collaboration with EY will help Liminal align with global regulatory expectations and industry best practices. By enhancing its risk management and governance structures, the company aims to solidify its position as a trusted provider of digital asset solutions for Web3 institutions.
