In a significant move for the future direction of Leonardo Hotels Central Europe, Anke Maas has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) on 6th August 2025. This esteemed position will see Maas overseeing all HR strategies within the group, with a focus on talent development, employee retention, and organisational growth.

She introduced the “LeoDo” employee social activities program in 2014, aiming to foster a strong sense of community among the workforce. In 2015, she launched the employee app Beekeeper, enhancing internal communications and promoting a more connected work environment.

Under her leadership, the Leonardo Academy, a comprehensive training program, was established in 2015. This platform has been instrumental in talent retention and development within the company.
