Lenzburg's 2025 financial report reveals stable but uneven results

The city of Lenzburg has released its 2025 financial report, showing a mixed but largely stable picture. While the municipal council ended the year with a solid financial position, some areas fell short of expectations. The full annual report is now available online for public review. The burgess council performed strongly, closing 2025 with a surplus of CHF 4.6 million. Its self-financing reached CHF 4.8 million, with almost no net investments recorded. This result aligned closely with projections.

The municipal council also exceeded its self-financing target by CHF 500,000, totalling CHF 5.6 million. However, its overall financial result was CHF 59,250—CHF 200,000 below the budgeted figure. Operating income also missed forecasts by CHF 47,500.

At Lenzia Forestry Services, operational costs came in under budget, yet the division faced an expenditure overrun of CHF 250,220. Despite this, it maintained solid self-financing of CHF 68,675. The 2025 figures show Lenzburg's finances remained steady, though some departments experienced shortfalls. The burgess council's surplus and the municipal council's strong self-financing provide a firm foundation. The city's annual report is now accessible online for further details.
