Lawmakers to Discuss Legislative and Business Policy Results at NKY Chamber Event

The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce is set to host its annual Legislative and Business Policy Recap on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the Newport Aquarium's Riverside Room. This event, scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., promises to provide local business leaders with valuable insights into policy changes and new legislation from the 2025 Kentucky General Assembly.

The event will feature key members of the Northern Kentucky Legislative Caucus, including Senator Matt Nunn, Representative Stephanie A. Dietz, Representative T.J. Roberts, and Senator Christian McDaniel.

Senator Matt Nunn, who represents Kentucky's 17th District, is a retired Kentucky Army National Guard officer and Toyota Tsusho America executive. He will share his insights on the key outcomes from the 2025 Kentucky General Assembly. Senator Nunn covers Grant and Scott counties and parts of Fayette and Kenton counties.

Representative Stephanie A. Dietz, who represents Kentucky's 65th District, is a seasoned political figure with a strong academic background. She earned her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Kentucky and her J.D. from Northern Kentucky University's Salmon P. Chase College of Law. Representative Dietz, who represents Edgewood, Fort Mitchell, and Park Hills, chairs the Budget Review Subcommittee on Justice, Public Safety, and Judiciary in the Kentucky House.

Representative T.J. Roberts, who represents Kentucky's 66th District, is another prominent figure at the event. He is a graduate of Transylvania University with a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics and a J.D. from Northern Kentucky University's Salmon P. Chase College of Law. Representative Roberts, who represents parts of Boone County, will also share his insights on the legislative successes and their impact on Northern Kentucky, the Commonwealth, and the business community.

Senator Christian McDaniel, a Northern Kentucky native, plays a key role in shaping Kentucky's financial policies as Chairman of the Senate Appropriations and Revenue Committee. He is a graduate of The Citadel and NKU and is also a U.S. Army veteran and the owner of McD Concrete.

Space is limited at the event, and pre-registration is required. The cost for NKY Chamber members is $40, for future NKY Chamber members is $50, and for NKYP members is $35. Tickets for the event are available on the NKY Chamber's website. The speaker for the event is not publicly available.

The discussion will focus on legislative successes and their impact on Northern Kentucky, the Commonwealth, and the business community.
