Landrat, Bürgermeister Visit Ludwig Rieder's Sustainable HQ
On June 11, 2025, Landrat Peter Dreier and Bürgermeister Werner Klanikow visited Ludwig Rieder GmbH & Co. KG at its headquarters in Bayerbach. The company, with over 140 years of history, is a leading provider in heating, sanitation, and civil engineering, employing around 150 people.
The visit centred around the newly constructed office building for the civil engineering department. The building, constructed in sustainable timber frame construction, is a testament to the company's commitment to environmental responsibility.
Ludwig Rieder GmbH & Co. KG, located at Marktstraße 19, 84092 Bayerbach, also serves as an energy centre. It supplies around 40 households with environmentally friendly heat via a dedicated district heating network.
Landrat Peter Dreier commended the company's extensive range of services, stable order situation, and strong employee loyalty during the visit.
The visit to Ludwig Rieder GmbH & Co. KG highlighted the company's commitment to sustainability and its significant contribution to the region's infrastructure and energy supply. The new office building and the company's strong performance were key topics of discussion.
