The Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) has announced the results of its elections held on July 21, 2025, marking a significant change in its leadership. The elections were part of SILF's ongoing efforts to address criticism and improve its representation and governance structure.

Dr. Lalit Bhasin has been re-elected as President of SILF, demonstrating the continued trust and confidence in his leadership. Among the new office bearers, Manoj Kumar Singh S, Manjula Chawla, Varun Bajaj, Pravin Anand, and CR Dua have been elected as Senior Vice-Presidents.

Rohit Kochhar has been elected as Treasurer, while Mumtaz Bhalla has been appointed as General Secretary. Arush Khanna and Yakesh Anand have been elected as Joint General Secretaries, and Ameet Naik, Shweta Bharti, Darshanand Gaur, Anand Desai, Ravi Nath, and Alok Kumar have been elected as members of the Executive Committee.

Notably, JSA founder Jyoti Sagar has been elected as Associate President, further strengthening the leadership of the organisation. The newly elected office bearers will play a crucial role in shaping the future of SILF and steering it towards greater success.

The elections also saw the re-election of established law firms such as Diljeet Titus' Titus and Co., Pratap Shanker's Legal Consultus, Sudhir Kumar's India International Jurists LLP, and Nishith Desai's Nishith Desai Associates as members of SILF.

The new leadership team is expected to bring fresh perspectives and ideas to the table, ensuring that SILF continues to evolve and adapt to the changing legal landscape in India. The elections have been hailed as a significant step towards addressing the concerns raised about SILF's representation and governance structure, and the new office bearers are eager to make a positive impact.
