Krasnoyarsk Furniture Plant Reopens, Boosting Regional Economy and Jobs
The Krasnoyarsk Furniture Manufacturing Plant has reopened after a significant upgrade, backed by VEB.RF as the secured creditor. Local officials and industry representatives supported the relaunch, which is expected to bring substantial economic and social benefits to the region.
The plant's revival has created around 200 jobs for skilled workers. It now operates with automated machinery, enabling a full closed-loop production cycle from primary wood processing to finished goods. This includes manufacturing furniture panels, carpentry boards, doors, and other wood products using traditional Siberian timber.
Specialists are currently conducting commissioning and adjustment work, testing pilot product samples to ensure smooth operation. The relaunch aims to establish a sustainable production foundation for competitive regional furniture, driving regional development and attracting further investment.
The reopened Krasnoyarsk Furniture Manufacturing Plant, with its unique full-cycle furniture production and traditional Siberian timber focus, is set to boost the regional economy, create new jobs, and stimulate further investment in furniture stores. Its successful relaunch is a testament to the collaborative effort between VEB.RF, local government officials, and industry representatives.
