Krasnodar Krai Approves Energy Conservation Law Amendments to Combat Rising Prices

Deputies of the Legislative Assembly of Krasnodar Krai (ZSK) have discussed and approved amendments to the law 'On Energy Conservation and Increasing Energy Efficiency in Krasnodar Krai'. The changes aim to align regional legislation with federal rules and broaden the governor's powers in energy conservation and efficiency. Acting Minister Vyacheslav Shaposhnik stressed the need for these amendments.

Yuri Burlačko, Chairman of the ZSK, noted that energy conservation and efficiency is no longer just a technical matter. He suggested conducting energy audits of social institutions and administrative buildings. This would involve implementing modern lighting systems, automatic temperature control, and facade insulation. Burlačko also emphasized the inevitability of rising energy prices due to external pressure on the country.

Implementing energy-efficient and conservation technologies can help mitigate this trend. Shaposhnik stressed the need to systematize and carry out energy conservation work comprehensively. The amendments aim to expand the governor's powers in this area, though the specific person responsible for implementation is not publicly specified.

The approved amendments to the energy conservation law in Krasnodar Krai aim to strengthen regional efforts in energy efficiency. This includes the implementation of energy audits and modern technologies in public buildings. The region acknowledges the challenge of rising energy prices and is taking steps to mitigate its impact.
