Knorr-Bremse hits €1B profit milestone with steady 2025 performance
Knorr-Bremse has reported steady financial results for 2025, with revenue holding firm at around €7.8 billion. The company achieved a major milestone by surpassing €1 billion in operating profit for the first time. Share performance over the past year reflected broader improvements in industrial demand and supply chain stability.
The company's full-year revenue remained nearly unchanged from 2024, staying close to €7.8 billion. However, organic growth in the fourth quarter picked up, rising by 6.4%. Net profit for the same period reached €127.8 million.
Operating profit climbed by 5.1% to €1.016 billion, pushing the operating EBIT margin up from 12.3% to 13.0%. Free cash flow also hit a record high of €790 million. By the end of 2025, the order backlog stood at nearly €7.4 billion.
Looking ahead to 2026, Knorr-Bremse has set a revenue target between €8.0 and €8.3 billion. The operating margin is expected to reach around 14%. Restructuring costs for the coming year are budgeted at up to €30 million.
Stock performance over the past 12 months was shaped by stronger demand in railway and commercial vehicle sectors, as well as a wider recovery in industrial markets. The stabilization of global supply chains also played a role in investor confidence.
