Khabarovsk's Warm Voyage Brings Lifeline Aid to Struggling Families and Homeless

A new social project called Warm Voyage has launched in Khabarovsk Krai to support vulnerable residents across the region. The initiative will assist families of mobilised and demobilised service members, low-income villagers, and homeless individuals in Khabarovsk and Komsomolsk-on-Amur with essential aid and services.

Funded by the Khabarovsk Krai government and the Presidential Grants Foundation, the programme aims to deliver practical help where it is most needed.

The project will distribute food packages, seasonal clothing, and footwear to those in need. Free hairdressing services and psychological consultations will also be available, with specialised support for veterans and their families.

A key part of the initiative is the Mercy Bus, which will visit remote villages in Khabarovsk and Lazovsky Districts twice a month. The mobile service targets struggling families and isolated residents who lack access to regular assistance.

For homeless individuals, the project offers help in restoring lost identification documents and reconnecting with relatives. Volunteers will assist with buying travel tickets, provide essential items for journeys, and escort people to transport hubs. Temporary lodging and hot meals will be available when required.

As of February 7, 2026, no figures have been released on how many people the Mercy Bus has reached so far.

The Warm Voyage project combines government backing with volunteer efforts to address urgent needs in the region. Services include material aid, personal care, and logistical support for those facing homelessness or isolation. The initiative is now operational in Khabarovsk and Komsomolsk-on-Amur, with regular outreach to rural communities.
