Khabarovsk schools get 37M rubles for art, music, and physics upgrades
Schools in Khabarovsk Krai are set to receive new equipment as part of Russia's ongoing Youth and Children national project. The upgrades will cover art studios, music rooms, and physics labs, with funding provided by the federal budget. This initiative builds on a wider effort that has already supplied over 10,000 schools nationwide since 2021.
A total of 37 million rubles has been earmarked for 238 schools in Khabarovsk Krai. The funds will support modernisation across different subjects, ensuring students have access to better learning tools.
Art studios will be equipped with plaster model kits for life drawing practice. Music classrooms are due to receive audio systems, sound centres, and percussion instrument sets. Meanwhile, physics labs will get demonstration models to help explain scientific phenomena.
The Youth and Children project began in 2021 and has since delivered specialised equipment to thousands of schools. By early 2026, the programme will have upgraded facilities in more than 10,000 institutions across Russia.
The latest funding will directly improve teaching resources in Khabarovsk Krai. Students in art, music, and physics will benefit from updated materials and equipment. The project continues to expand, with further upgrades planned for schools nationwide.
