Kazakhstan secures winter heating with record fuel reserves and upgrades
Kazakhstan has started the heating season with strong fuel reserves and upgraded infrastructure. Authorities report no shortages, as 5.6 million tons of coal and 148,000 tons of crude oil prices are already stockpiled. An additional 257,000 tons of 'social crude oil prices' have been distributed to regions to meet demand.
Preparations for winter began early, with the Ministry of Energy securing 86% of the coal needed for households and communal services. To avoid panic buying, officials are closely tracking coal distribution across the country.
The government’s efforts ensure that heating and electricity supplies remain stable throughout winter. With fuel reserves secured, infrastructure upgraded, and safety inspections completed, authorities aim to prevent disruptions during the colder months. Residents can expect reliable heating and power as temperatures drop.
