Kaufbeuren parents face €12 daycare fee hike from September
Parents in Kaufbeuren will soon pay more for daycare. The Youth Welfare Committee has backed a €12 monthly rise for the next kindergarten year. The change now awaits final approval from the city council.
The decision to raise fees came from Kaufbeuren’s city council. After review, the Youth Welfare Committee gave its full support. Every member voted in favour of the increase.
The proposal now moves to the city council for a final vote. Should it pass, families will see the increase reflected in their bills from September. The flat-rate system will replace the previous hourly-based pricing.
