Kanga Exchange Shapes Europe's Blockchain Future at UN:BLOCK 2026

Kanga Exchange took part in the UN:BLOCK blockchain and fintech conference held in Riga on April 1-2, 2026. The event drew around 2,500 attendees and featured over 100 speakers from leading companies and public institutions. Before the conference, Kanga hosted an exclusive VIP reception to connect key figures in the industry.

The UN:BLOCK conference focused on two main areas: blockchain technology development and the intersection of fintech with traditional finance. It brought together regulators, legal experts, founders, investors, and blockchain companies for discussions and networking. Kanga Exchange, a European cryptocurrency platform with over 350 physical exchange points, participated but currently has no locations in Latvia—its services are mainly in Poland and other Eastern European countries.

The day before the conference, Kanga organised a VIP Cocktail Reception on March 31, 2026. The event included a presentation by the Kanga team, updates on their plans for the Latvian market, and a networking session. Such gatherings provide direct interaction, helping attendees assess projects and build trust in the rapidly growing Web3 sector. Blockchain and cryptocurrency conferences have become a major part of the industry, with over 400 events held globally each year. Europe alone hosts dozens, including well-known gatherings like Paris Blockchain Week and the European Blockchain Convention. Large events often attract tens of thousands of participants, making them key platforms for collaboration and innovation.

Kanga Exchange's involvement in UN:BLOCK highlights its engagement in Europe's blockchain and fintech scene. The conference and VIP reception offered opportunities for direct discussions with regulators, investors, and industry leaders. As the sector expands, such events continue to play a crucial role in shaping its future.
