Currently, he serves as CEO of Walhalla Gold Corp and as a Director and Audit Committee member of Military Metals Corp. Before this, he worked as Vice President of Corporate Development for Great Pacific Gold Corp, an explorer based in Papua New Guinea. His expertise includes advising on due diligence for exploration projects and guiding corporate strategy. K92 Mining operates the Kainantu Gold Mine in Papua New Guinea, producing gold, copper, and silver. The site reached commercial production in February 2018. The company aims to grow into a Tier 1 mid-tier producer. John Lewins, K92’s Chief Executive Officer, highlighted Carew’s experience as a key asset for the firm’s expansion plans.
