JoulestoWatts’ 40x return success fuels women-led tech venture growth

JoulestoWatts, a woman-led tech company, has made waves in the industry. It now partners with over 300 Global Capability Centers (GCCs) and 70% of Fortune 500 clients. Saha Fund, which invested in 2016, has successfully exited its investment, realizing a 40x return.

JoulestoWatts started as a boutique consultancy but has grown into a digital business platform offering solutions in AI, cybersecurity, cloud computing, SAP, and data analytics. Its impressive growth includes a tenfold year-over-year revenue increase and a 50% rise in client acquisitions, now boasting a workforce of over 5,000 consultants.

Saha Fund, India's first women-focused tech venture fund, founded by Ankita Vashishtha in 2015, backed JoulestoWatts early on. The fund has now launched Arise Ventures, a Rs 500 crore fund focusing on enterprise, consumer, and health care technology. Arise Ventures' portfolio includes notable unicorns like Licious, Uniphore, Fitternity, and Phenom.

JoulestoWatts' success story is a testament to the potential of women-led tech ventures. Saha Fund's exit with a 40x return is among India's most successful buybacks in recent years. Meanwhile, Arise Ventures continues the investment strategy, backing promising tech startups in various sectors.
