Jeffrey Epstein's Secret Hunt for Two Ultra-Luxury Swiss Villas Revealed

Newly released documents reveal Jeffrey Epstein's interest in buying two luxury Swiss villas in 2010. One was the sprawling Villa Rose in Meggen, once owned by the late commodities trader Marc Rich. The other, a high-security estate on Lake Zug, was brought to his attention by a realtor.

The Villa Rose stood out for its sheer scale. Covering 10,200 square metres, the property included a boathouse, staff quarters, landscaped gardens, and a wellness centre. Epstein inquired about purchasing it, but the deal never went through.

The second villa, located in Zug, was introduced to Epstein by his associate David Stern, the former NBA commissioner. Stern had approached a real estate firm for details, then passed them on to Epstein without the firm's knowledge. He also offered to manage the sale quietly, highlighting the estate's privacy and security features.

When contacted, the real estate advisor involved confirmed Stern's inquiry but stated she had no direct contact with Epstein. She also had no awareness of any link between Stern and Epstein at the time.

No purchases were ever completed, and key details about the Zug property remain unclear. The documents, however, confirm Epstein's brief but serious interest in acquiring high-end Swiss real estate over a decade ago.
