The 18th edition of Jagriti Yatra, the world's largest entrepreneurial journey on wheels, kicked off on Friday. The 15-day, 8,000-kilometre journey will traverse from Mumbai to Ahmedabad, Kochi, Hubli, and beyond. 500 selected members, known as Yatris, accompanied by mentors, began their enterprise-led journey by train from Mumbai.

The Yatra's theme, Atmanirbhar Bharat, focuses on self-reliance growing from local innovation and community strength. Shashank Mani, founder of Jagriti Yatra and former Member of Parliament, stated that the mission is to build an Atmanirbhar Bharat through enterprise-led development. Ashutosh Kumar, chief executive officer of Jagriti, explained this further at the inauguration event.

Chetna Sinha, founder of Mann Deshi Foundation, spoke on resilience and transformation through enterprise. Navneet Munot, managing director and chief of HDFC Asset Management Company Limited, praised the spirit of self-belief and nation-building embodied by Jagriti Yatra. The Yatra has touched over 8,000 Yatris since its inception, creating a network of young leaders dedicated to building middle India through innovation and enterprise.

The 18th Jagriti Yatra, with its 500 selected members, aims to inspire and empower young leaders to drive self-reliance and growth in India. The journey, spanning over 15 days and covering thousands of kilometres, will connect Yatris with mentors, entrepreneurs, and community leaders, fostering an environment of learning and collaboration.
