Irbit Foundry Plant Up for Sale Amid Regional Metal Production Decline
The foundry plant on Sovetskaya Street in Irbit, owned by 'Irbit Electromechanical Plant', has been put up for sale again. The facility, established in 2001, spans a total area of 10,900 sq. m.
Initially intended for sale in February, with no price change over eight months, the foundry's re-listing comes amidst a 10.7% decrease in metal production in the Sverdlovsk region from January to August 2025 compared to the same period in 2024.
The foundry, previously part of the Irbit Motorcycle Plant, operates using multiple casting technologies including lost foam, cold chamber die casting, shell molding, gravity die casting, and pressure die casting. It boasts all necessary permits, a steady customer base, reliable material suppliers, and a fully staffed production team.
Despite the recent downturn in regional metal production, the foundry in Irbit remains a functional and well-equipped asset, ready for new ownership. Its diverse casting capabilities and established infrastructure make it an attractive opportunity for potential buyers.
